This is life

This is life. Sometimes it is great, sometimes it is bad. But during all those times, there is always somethings that we all like to say. So this is me. Saying what I want to say.

Never too late...

Never Ever.
Never too late. That seemed to be a really big theme in my life the last few days. I was reminded over and over again that there is never a dead end. You can never reach the end of the road, and be too late to turn back. There is always a way to fix the problem, no matter if you feel like there is or not. That is just the fact of life. NO matter what happens in your life, it is never too late to turn back, make it right, or start all over again.

Now where am I going to go?
This last week, it seemed like I had finally hit the end of the road. I came up on a dead end, with no way to leave. I am not strong enough to climb up, I dont' have tools to break through, and I am just too plain tired to turn around and find my way back. In my brain, everything was too late. There was no way that I could fix the problem ahead of me. It just seem like it was too big, and sooner or later it will just crash on me, so why even try?? So ya. If there ever was a rock bottom in my life, it would have been this week.

But we have all felt that way sometime in our lives, right? Maybe not MY rock bottom, but we sure had experiences that make known unto us that LIFE IS HARD. And sometimes, when it seems like everything is lost, and it's just too late to do anything about it, all you want to do is just give up. But it doesn't have to be that way!!! Life don't always have to stay like this. I mean, who wants it to stay hard and ugly forever?

Life is meant to be enjoyed, not just endured.
 - President Hinckley

I love that quote. I remember President Hinckley always being so positive, and inspiring. He always reminded me that even though life sucks sometimes, there are always things to be enjoyed. Even though sometimes in our lives we reached a gap, or get blocked with a huge mountain in our roads, there is always a way through it. There isn't a problem that we can't fix, and there isn't a trial we can't go through and come out winning. And not just winning. We come out of it gaining blessings we have never imagined. It might seem like that our heart is getting ripped apart during every single day of that trial, but when we come out of it, trust me. It will be something so beautiful, that we will get on our knees to thank God for the opportunity he has given us to grow and learn.

I found a song this week that really inspired me. And it inspired what I just talked about. It's called "Beautiful Heartbreak" by Hilary Weeks. And I absolutely love it!

But I know that having that attitude is so hard to remember during our trials. I know that during this week as I was just going through day by day, I needed so much reminder in my life that hard times doesn't last forever.

I had wonderful friends around me to remind me that I can do anything I set my heart out to do. There isn't something too hard for me to fight through, and come out stronger then I was before. And something my friends always kept in my brain is that IT'S NEVER TOO LATE. I always have ways to fix the problem. It's just in my own hands. I haven't hit the end yet. I might of hit rock bottom, but I haven't hit the end. And I won't unless I completely give up. And that is something I never ever want to do.

Also, during General Conference this week, Elder Jeffrey R. Holland gave a talk on this exact point. He told us that no matter what we were fighting through, it's never TOO late to turn back.

"You have NOT traveled beyond the reach of divine love... There is nothing you have done that cannot be undone. There is no problem which you cannot overcome. There is no dream that cannot yet be realized. It is never too late, so long as the master of the vineyard says there is time... Don't delay, it's getting late." ~ Elder Holland

Isn't that just wonderful? We have so much ahead of us that we can accomplish, and overcome. There is never a end as long as our Savior says there isn't. I love that. For me, no matter how hard life is now, it will make me stronger. It will build me up so I can fight till the time when the Savior comes again. It gives me strength to stand up for myself, and remind myself each and every day that it's NEVER too late.

So today I decided I am going to find a way to reach my own beautiful heartbreak. It's time for me to act. It's time for me to stand up, and do things for myself, no matter how hard it is. It's getting late, and if I don't stand up now, I don't know if I ever will be able to again. So before I have a chance to regret even more, and fall even harder, I am going to pick myself back up. I want to. And now I will. NO matter what it takes.

So, what are you going to do?? Can I please take some time to give you some suggestions?? Why thankyou. :) Next time when life gets hard, remember it doesn't stay that way forever. Remember that there is always a way out, and that no matter how dark the road seems, there is always a light at the end. It's hard I know. Trust me. I know. But....

You always have a way to climb that tall, hard, but beautiful mountain in front of you. It's never too late to start making a change, to start turning back, and to start standing up. It's just the way life is. Please Please Please never let yourself believe that things have gone too far, and time has pass beyond your control. You ALWAYS have more time. Until the Savior comes again. Don't give up. Don't stay down. Don't just endure. Enjoy. That is what life is about. Learning, growing, changing, and enjoying through everything in between.

I love you all! Thanks for all you that you guys do for me. :) I hope that no matter what is happening in your lives, you will remember what I said tonight, and try your best, to be your best. Because as always, I am. :)

Support Bucket

Have you ever wonder what's going on in other people's lives? Just stop to think if they are going through the same things you are? Fighting the battles you are fighting, no matter how big or small? Have you ever realize that even for your friends, you sometimes don't know what's going on inside their minds completely, and most of the time, you have no idea how you can help them?

Seriously, take a mental look around you right now, and try to imagine everyone that has a part in your life. Do you know what they need? Do you know how to help them? Do you know if they are truly happy or not? And what can you do make a difference for them?

These are all questions I have been asking myself this week. I realize that there are so many people around me that I laugh and talk with everyday, but I really don't know what's going on in their lives, and how I might be able to make it better.

We all have those days where even the tress seems to
be against us. :(
We all have our own trials. And some of them is really hard to fight against with a positive attitude all the time. I know I sure do have things I been fighting for a long time, and sometimes all I need is a hug, and somebody to tell me that everything's going to be okay.

And I am pretty certain that all of us out there just want that too when our lives reach a road block. We are all humans, and we are definitely not perfect. We need support and guidance in our lives to be able to go through each and every day accomplishing the things we are supposed to do. And the support that we need can come from anything or anyone. It can come from music, or writing. It can come from our hobbies, or work. And one of the main support systems I have found in my life is my family and friends. They mean everything to me, and I want to be there to be everything for them.

It's hard to forget about ourselves sometimes, and start to look at others. To pay attention to what they really need in their lives and how you might be able to help. I know that sometimes I just get too involved on my own problems, and forget that others out there is fighting through hard times too. But when I take a step back, and take some time out of my day to serve others, no matter if they are a friend or a stranger, everything seems to fall into the right perspective.

I realize that life is hard. It's definitely not perfect. It's always a struggle from day till night, night till weeks, weeks till years, but that doesn't matter. Because all of us on this earth is fighting through that also. There isn't one of us that is completely perfect except our Savior, Jesus Christ.

The whole point of our time here on earth is to fight through that. But we are not meant to fight through that alone. We have the Savior, Heavenly Father, the Holy Ghost, the Gospel, and all the wonderful people around us. They are the tools in our support bucket. They are there to help, and in return, we become a tool for other people.

So don't be afraid to ask for help. Don't be afraid to realize your weaknesses, and to get on your  knees to ask for support. He will always be there to answer you, no matter what's going on. Don't feel weak to call up a friend and just talk about what's going on in your life. They are there to be your tool, to support you in what you need.

But there is also a second side to this. You also have to be a tool for other's. Be openminded to what others needs. Be there to listen, and be there to support. Remember that you are also a part of somebody else's support bucket. That is how the support system works. It's always an ongoing cycle. You help someone, they help you. You ask your Heavenly Father for guidance, and He helps you, which then in turn makes you stronger to help somebody else once again, and then it just keeps repeating.

Isn't that just great?? Have you ever realize that this is how life works? Everybody helping each other in the end really just turns back to helping our Lord in doing his work? I think that this is one of the really cool principles of the Gospel. We are never alone. Ever. And if we are there to make sure somebody else don't feel alone, then all we are doing is ensuring that the support system keeps going. :) I just think that is amazing!
This is a circle. And Circles are forever infinite.
They don't stop.
Just like the Support system. :)
So tomorrow when you wake up, take a look around you. Think about all the people in your life, and realize that they are all trying to fight through their battles with dragons and monsters too. Make a goal to be a better tool in that wonderful support basket. It's hard, I know. But it is so worth it. I promise. I have seen and felt the blessings of service, and what a big difference it had made in my life. And I really want that for you too.

Try a little harder to be a little better. Actually, try your best to be the best tool you can be. :) That's all there is to it. You don't have to be perfect. NOBODY can. So don't try. Just try to be your BEST. :) Because as always, I am. :) I love you all! Have an absolutely wonderful day.

Friends

Life is so hard to go through alone. We all need help every now and then, but if we denied the help we can get from others, it just makes life Unbearable. I have learned that this week over and over again, and it was a lesson I was quite thankful for.

I usually get lost in my thoughts during stressful times of the week, and starts freaking myself out, and those are the times where I need someone there to tell me I am just being silly, and everything is going to be alright. And that was what my friends did for me this week. All those times when I was freaking out over life, they were there to give me advice, and show their love for me. They were there to give me support in whatever I needed. There wasn't a time where when I needed them, they just blew me off.

It's so nice to know that you have people around you that you can trust, and confide in, and know that no matter what happens, they also trust you and love you back. The feeling is so special when you feel the friendship grow, and strengthen when you bond together as friends

It's a feeling I never really felt as I was growing up, due to many complications, and trials. But as I came to college, and started meeting all of these wonderful people, I started to get that feeling more. I felt my ability to love, and trust others grow even more until I just want all of my friends to know that they have a very special place in my heart.

I have always been told that my heart is sometimes to big for my own good. I trust everybody I meet, and I love all the people in my life until they do something to PROVE to me that they can't be trusted. Until then, I love them all, and will do anything for them. I feel that relationships is a very important part of life, and good relationships only will come if there is trust, understanding, and love working together. So I always try my hardest to show that for others. I try my best to be the best kind of friend I can. I don't want to ever realize that one day, because I was too involved with my own problems, I left out a chance to comfort my friends, and show them that I care.

And so today, I am taking some time to tell my friends how thankful I am to have them in my life. I could of never gone through this week without them to support me, and guide me through every part of the last 7 days. When I needed a lift in my mood, they were there to joke with me until my face was aching because I was laughing so hard. When I was crying, they were there to give me a big hug, and just listen to me cry. When I needed somebody to vent to, they stayed on the phone with me until I got it all out of my system; and instead of being upset that I took so much of their precious time, they told me thank-you for confiding in them, and trusting them. And even when I just needed somebody to ask if I was okay, they texted me, just to check up on me.

I am so happy that I have so many great and amazing people in my life. I don't know how I could ever express how thankful I am for them. My friends really are the people that keeps me going each and every day. I love them very much, and am so grateful for all they do for me.

There's no words to describe how hard this week has been. Emotionally and physically. There were just so many times where I wanted to give up, but just because of my friends, I didn't, and they made my week so much better. And it didn't take much for them to do it. Just a smile, a joke, or a hug. It made all the difference in the world. So THANK-YOU. To all my friends, and everybody in my life. To me, you guys are the best people in the world. Thanks for being such a great example to me. I hope I am the kind of friend to others as you guys are to me. :)

So now is the part where I turn to what you guys can do. And this is the advice I am giving this week. Look around you. See all the people that walk in and out of your life. Cherish the ones that loves you and care about you. Don't let them go. Be a friend to everybody, especially to those that are a friend to you. Be a little more sensitive, and pay attention to what others need. Because you never know if just one smile, one wave, or one hug will make somebody's day. All of us humans just want somebody to care about us sometimes, and for me, I am going to try my best to be there for that one person who needs something, no matter what it is. And I hope you will too. Try you best like always, but this time, also try your best for others. :) I love you all! :)

Innocence

Okay, so here I am sitting in my Psychology 111 class, writing this blog. I should be writing down notes, but I really just don't feel like it right now. I really really want to blog, so that is what I am doing. Blogging. :)

Anyways, over the last weekend my sister and I went to watch a really cute movie called "The Muppets!" Now, if you know what I am talking about, you are way awesome! :) More awesome then me anyways because before I went to see that movie, I had no idea what or who the Muppets were, so I was really bummed out after the movie that I missed such an important part of my Childhood!!!! But anyways, back to what I was going to talk about.

As I was coming out of the movie theater, I had a thought. And this thought, like all the others one I ever had in life, just won't leave me alone. So I am going to blog about it, and maybe my brain can be at rest again. And here is the thought:

When has life got so complicated?? Why can't it just be simple and innocent like the movie? Why must we make everything harder then it seems?

If you haven't seen the movie, and really want to see it, I suggest you stop reading now, and come back after you seen it so I don't spoil anything for you. But if you really don't care, I would love for you to keep reading. :)

So, during the movie, there was only one goal during the whole entire plot. To save the studio, and the Muppet's name. It was clear as Black and White. You knew who was wrong, and you knew who was right. You see them trying their hardest to reach their goal. And everything was just so....Innocent. I mean, as I was watching it, I felt like a kid again. I smiled and laugh the whole entire time. There wasn't any second in the movie where things got complicated, and dark. It wasn't like any other movie I experienced. It wasn't the best movie, but it sure was a great movie to make you feel like a kid again.

I forgot what that felt like. Sitting there watching little muppets sing and dance on stage. Being so emotionally tied into their story, and wanting them to succeed so bad because of their determination, and innocence. Even at the end, when they had fail their goal, they didn't get mad, and they didn't give up. They stood up together as a whole group, determined to start all over again. It was just that simple. They are going to get back on their feet, and start from the bottom up. It would be hard, but they still didn't give up. They didn't make things more complicated, but instead, they made it simple. And then they walked out the door.

So, why can't we as humans do the same thing?? Why can't we become innocent again, and make things simple? Why is it that every single time during a crisis of ours, we have to make it so much more complicated that what it really is? Why can't we just think like kids, and make it simple? Why can't we determine what is black and white, and know always to choose the right(white) way?? And I think the simple answer to all of these questions is because "this is real life, and real life is hard."

We can't always see what is right all the time. We tend to get blocked by our own human nature, always automatically making things complicated all the time. And it always seems there isn't a way to stop that. And I just really wish somehow we can change ourselves, and make life simple. Because having a simple view on life, makes it seems so much more beautiful and fun.

Watching the muppets, and feeling the joy of being a kid again is a feeling I won't forget. What was even better was that I could of shared that experience with my sister, and she also felt the same was as I did. I know to some of you, you won't be able to see what I saw and felt in the movies, and that just might be because deep inside of me, I am still a little kid, hoping to have a chance to come out again. But that is okay! :)

I just hope that we can just maybe remember that feeling when things we simple, and beautiful. When the hardest choices that we make is only choosing from the color black and white. Life is hard, and inevitably complicated, but we can have a choice to make it complicated or not. I choose to make it simple. I choose to be a kid again. But that is just my choice. And I am going to try my best to stick up to that choice. How about you?? Are you going to try your best?? I hope so!

So I was looking for pics, and fell in love with this quote! :)

Have a great day!!!

Just think before act

Okay, so I was just sitting here writing a post on something completely different, when something happened, and a new thought cross my mind. And now, that thought just won't leave, so I have to start all over again, and actually write about this so I will be able to sleep tonight.

Okay, so I know that this thought
doesn't have anything to do with my post,
but I just really like it! :)
Anyways...I was going to write a post on a topic that I feel really strongly about. I really think that I have my opinion, and I want other people to hear it. Just because it is a point of view in a group on minorities, it doesn't mean it's wrong. But the whole problem is that. I am the minority. I am the smaller one, and I can't make that big of a difference. All I can do is sit here, and do what others want, and think as other think because there is only one of me. Which really sucks, and it got me thinking of something else.

And here is the thought: even though someone wants something different for themselves at that exact moment, ignoring what others wants and need; doesn't mean other people feelings and thoughts don't matter. Just because they are the bigger one, and meaner one, doesn't mean other people always have to kneel at their feet, and do as ordered.

We all have Agency. And we all have feelings. We all aren't ruled by one person or group because that one specific group wants everything done their way. We have to stand up, and care about ourselves. And not only ourselves. We have to build up our courage, and care about others that are being taken advantage of also! If we never stand up and say no, we will always be stuck in the same place, being picked on, and laughed at.

I think that all of us sometimes get in way over our heads, and start to get a little cranky and mean. But that isn't the point where we should start pretending we are the boss, and make everybody feel worst about themselves. That is the time to stand up, and try to do something for others. Serving always bring a little light to your heart. Serving and kindness brings the spirit closer to us then the attitude of the devil. In this world, not everything is about ourselves. There are always other things for other people we can attend to.

Being mad, upset, or angry never gets us anywhere. It never does anybody any good. And what is worst is if you start taking out your anger on somebody else. That goes beyond bad. That could hurt someone very badly, whether physically, or emotionally. I think that all of us can do a little better in this area. Attitude and temper can always get away from us. But in the end, they never do us any good. We can always act as the boss, and order everybody around, but that won't help anything.

Whenever we get to that point, we should always pause, and actually think about what is the consequences of the action we are about to make. Because you never want to do something you can't ever take back. We don't want to give an image to others that isn't really who we are because of one stupid, but simple action. I mean, that just doesn't seem fun, or fair to us, does it? In my mind, serving, and resolving the conflict is so much better then wallowing, and throwing attitudes everywhere. If we all can just think like that more, most of the issues that arise in all our lives would be so much easier!

I know that maybe most of the things I said tonight doesn't really flow, and doesn't really makes much sense, but I just really want to get it out. I just got really tired of being taken advantage of, and having attitudes thrown at me left and right. I am tired of always doing things for others just because they are bigger then me. I want it to change. And I guess that is the only reason I am writing this tonight. I just want it to stop. I want to be myself, and I want to stop being the punching bag. That is all.

I hope that even though it didn't make much sense, this post helped you out in the way you needed. I hope that you will read this, and make a promise to yourself to never be the person that orders others around. I hope you will make up your mind, and remember to serve others always, even though you just want to be served yourself. I hope that in everything that is happening to you, you are making the best of it. I hope you are trying your best in everything you are doing. Because as always, even though it is hard, I am. :) Trying my best, and being my best! :) Have a great night!!!!

Just Pushing On...

:)
Life is hard. That is all there is to it. It was never promised to be easy, and as it turned out, it definitely isn't. I think each and every one of us have learned that very lesson, no matter how old we are, or what situation we are in. I certainly know that this week, that was one of the lessons I had to learn over and over again. It followed me to my class, it was there when I talked to my family, and it was even there in my sleep!

"Life Is Hard."

This week wasn't one of the worst weeks of my life, but it definitely wasn't the best. All the things that could go wrong, did. But surprisingly, even though I could of gone without the drama of the last 7 days, I learned from it, and I am actually glad I had to go through it to grow. It was just a very simple lesson, but it had a real impact inside of me. And the lesson is this. NO matter what is happening in life, you NEVER give up. You may want to, but don't even do it.

I can't even count how many times this week I have said "I just wanna give up", and been so close to actually doing it. I remember that feeling when all seems lost, and there just seems like there is nothing more I could do. During that time, it was just so easy to tell myself I suck, and since I just can't do anything right, I should just stop caring. But that was totally the wrong way to handle the situation!

I just kept on focusing on the small point, forgetting to see the whole picture. I don't remember how long I spent on the living room floor, crying and feeling sorry for myself. But at one certain point, I decided to stop. I told myself that it was enough! I had to stop. I made a promise to myself that I needed to be more positive in life, and that no matter what is happening, I will be able to go through it. That was the exact moment when I remembered a song I found a few weeks ago by Josh Groban. It's called "You Are Loved (Don't Give Up)". It is such an inspirational song, so I decided to share it with you guys.
I know I used this quote before, but
I wanted to share it again because
I just love it so much!
Everything in the song had such an impact on me. I know that I have felt lonely, and invisible over the last couple of weeks. I also know that it has been hard for me to feel loved and cared about. But even though it seems like that, it is not true! You can't just give up because of that. You have to keep pushing on! It doesn't matter what trail it is, you just have to keep on pushing! I know it seems hard, and it is! It is tiring, and it sometimes seems useless, but I know that it isn't. I have found that out this week. It has been a hard hard week, but I kept on pushing. No matter what is happening, I know that if I just keep pushing, things will turn out for the better. And it did.

You don't want to give up in life, because if you do, you never get to figure out all the great and marvelous things that are waiting for you just around the corner. It is just like if you see a mountain that seems too high to climb and stop there, you will never ever enjoy the view from above. You won't even know what is waiting for you up there after you gave it all you got, and conquer the unbelievable. You have to believe that you will be able to climb up that scary mountain. You have to keep on going until you can't go anymore. And even when you get to that point, you have to push yourself to keep on enduring. That is how you overcome anything.

I know that God gives us trials to fight. He gives us trials so we can grow. He gives us trials because he loves us. He will never give us something we aren't strong enough to face. At times we might feel like nobody can hear us, and nobody loves us. But that is false. NO matter what, the Lord will always be there to hear us, love us, and guide us. We just have to keep on believing and loving him. We can't stop, and expect him to guide us through everything. We have to get up on our feet, keep pushing, and keep on believing.

No matter what life throws at us, if we only try our best, and keep on pushing, we will be able to make it to the end. I know it is hard, and I don't promise you that it will get any easier, but I do promise that if you keep on going, keep on believing, and never give up, you will be blessed in the end. Things will turn out the way they are suppose to be. I am going to try my best to follow up to the promises I made to myself today. How about you? What are you going to do the next time a scary mountain comes up to you? Will you try your best?? I hope so!

When you are at the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hang on.

Cherish always...

It's been a month since winter break. A whole month since I saw my grandma standing there at the Hong Kong airport waving me goodbye. 30 + days has passed since I was living out my dreams on the other side of the world. It doesn't seem that long, but living the days one by one here in my dorm on BYU campus is making it seem like it has been forever.

During this whole entire time that I have been back, I have thought about a couple of things that I really want. One is that I really really want is to be back on the other side of the world, living the Hong Kong life, and spending time with my grandma. The second one that is that I  keep thinking about is the topic of family and memories, and the things we ought to cherish more. Cherish. That is a beautiful word to me. I don't know why. But it has deeper meaning then just a word.

To me, Cherish means love, and remembrance. It means understanding, and charity. It means holding on to something forever, and never ever forget what it means to me. Now, I know this isn't the real definition for the world cherish, but when I think of that word, this is what comes into my mind.

I have so many good things that happens to me all the time. I have a family that loves me, and would do anything for me. I have friends that are always so caring, and understanding; friends that I know will always be there for me. I have a loving Father in Heaven that loves me so much he sent his son to die for me. I have sooooo much! But yet, sometimes I forget about that. I forget that I am a very lucky girl, and just always remember the negative things. I forget to CHERISH the people I have around me, and keep trying to ask for more.

During this week though, I realize that I won't always have so much to be grateful for. I won't always have all my family members to be with me on this earth. Someday in the future, no matter when, my grandma will leave this earth, and my parents will pass onto some place amazing and wonderful. My friends lives will change, and some of them I will never see again after I graduate. So many things can happen in a blink of an eye, you never know how life is going to be like tomorrow.

So I decided that I need to cherish everything I have NOW. I don't always want to live in negativity, and someday wake up from that, and realize that I lost everything I had because I was too busy feeling sorry for myself. I want to always remember the experiences I have with my family, and the memories we make together. I don't want to wake up one day and regret about something I can never change because I let the time pass me by. I want to do something about it today, make a change, and Cherish everything I have in front of me.

I want to remember every single waking moment I have with my grandma on my trip back to Hong Kong. I want to remember the laughs we have, the jokes we made with each other, and the meals we ate together. I want that feeling of love, and connection to be embedded deep inside me that even when I am 80, I will still remember it. I want to share the rest of our lives in happiness, joy, and love.

I want to always laugh with my parents and sister, that we can always understand each other, and love each other more. I don't ever want to lose them. I want to see their faces forever inside my mind; each waking day, and each sleeping night. I want them to know that I love them with all my life. I want them to know that no matter what I say and do, I CHERISH everything they have ever done for me. I want them to laugh at me, and dance with me. I want all of us in the family to cherish each other.

Okay, so I know that a lot of this post has been about me, so as always, now I am going to ask all of you to do something for me. I am going to ask you to Cherish the other people around you too. Love your family, and care about your friends. Remember that you never know what is going to happen, so before you have to regret about something, do it. Make sure you never let anything pass in your life when you could of done something about it. Remember that your Father in Heaven loves you, and wants you to cherish life also. Don't wallow in self pity. Stand up, be positive the best that you can, and cherish the people and things you have around you. Because I promise you that if you take time to look for the good, they will always come out and beat the bad. Trust me. I am working on it right now, and it is making a difference. And I know it will make a difference to you too. Only if you let it though, and make yourself give it a try. If you are already doing this, that is great! But there are always room to improve. Never forget that. Whether you are doing it or not, start today, and keep it going for the rest of your life, the best that you can.

Try your best to cherish all that you love and care for. Try your best to BE your best! Because as always, I am!! :) I love ya'll!! Have a great night, and wonderful week!!!

Things that matters....

I am following this precise advice.
I learned a lesson this weekend. And it didn't come easily. So instead of letting you make my mistakes without knowing the consequences, I am going to tell you what I did, and hopefully you can learn from my experiences. Because trust me. You want to.

Many things happens in life. Things that we never see coming, and things that were never meant to happen in the first place. You can't control everything. Sometimes, I find that it is almost impossible to even control ourselves. Especially our emotions. They are one of the biggest  problems. Happiness, sadness, everything else in between until you hit the worst ones. Anger and Jealousy. They are the worst emotions that humans have in my opinion, and since the lesson comes from being angry this week, I am going to focus more on that, and leave Jealousy for next time.

Why do humans get angry? What's the reason for it? It doesn't do us any good when we get angry or upset. It just makes things worst. So why in the world do our emotions always get away from us whether we want them to or not? How much difference does it really make when we are angry, verses to when we are calm and clearheaded? This question can have two answers. It can make a lot of difference, but mostly always for the worst, and in the end, it really had no impact at all.

Some of the things we get angry about really doesn't matter compare to all the other things in this world. For me, I know that sometimes when I do get upset or angry, there might not really be an reason for it at all!! It could of been only something very small, but because of my pride, I let my emotions get in the way. At the end of the day, that small little thing won't even matter compared to all the other things I have accomplished, and still yet to accomplish for the rest of my life. I/we, shouldn't really let tiny things, or misunderstandings get in our way of enjoying our day, and time here on this earth. Anything can be cleared up, and there are always solutions to problems. We don't always need to get angry at others.

You know, I really like this one song that is in one of the Rascal Flatts album (btw, I really like this band). It is called "Things That Matters." It talks about this family of a father and daughter. I would explain the whole song to you, but because it's just so good, I want you to listen to it. I posted the song right here so you can listen to it with me. Take some time, and really pay attention to the words. And then think about yourself. Think about what I said tonight. Do the things that make us angry really matter in the long run? The answer I have for myself is no.

Have you ever realize how much energy it actually takes to be upset at someone or something? It gets really tiring after a while. At the end of the whole experience, sometimes you just feel drained. I know I feel like that all the time. I spend all my time and energy being mad at this one small issue, and in the end, it wasn't really even important!

And not only that! Have you realize how much trouble being angry gets you in? When you are angry, you start to defend yourself, and sooner or later, an argument starts. It happens all the time. At the end of that argument, you might of lost a friend, offended your boss, or even disappointed your parents. Was it worth it? Or will the consequences be worth it the next time you get upset? It might not always happen like that, but most of the time, there are always negative results to a temper tantrum.

So, in the end, I just don't think getting angry is worth it, but somehow, it always happens!!! So how are we suppose to control it? What can we do to protect ourselves from the negative consequences? How do we stay in check at all times, and be able to stop something from happening before it happens? I don't really have a answer to that. But I do know this:
........

Getting angry does nothing. It won't change a thing, and it surely isn't even worth it. It doesn't matter, and brings negative results that you never want to have to deal with. So the next time when you feel like your emotions are getting away from you, remember what I said tonight, and hopefully you won't repeat the same mistakes that I made this weekend.

Just try your best. Nobody is perfect in everything that they do, and especially in controlling their emotions, but we call all try and do our Best! That's all it takes to make a difference in our lives. Trying, and Doing. And personally, I will add another one. REMEMBERING. Remember that it doesn't even matter, and remember that it surely isn't even worth it! Try your best!!! Because as always, I am. :)

Choices and their complications....

Choices. Aren't they so funny and complicated at the same time? Have you ever stop to think about it? How many times in a day do you make a decision or a choice that affects the rest of your day?? It can just be very simple things like picking your outfit, or what's for breakfast all the way to more complicated things like what classes you are taking this semester.

They all seem pretty simple though, right? I mean you just think about what you want at that moment, and after you decided, you put it to action. But have you thought deeper about it? I know that I always ask you to take a moment and think about the things I say, but seriously, do it again for me. Everyday when you make the choices, what are you thinking? Nothing? Something else other then about the choice that you are making? Or is your thoughts about how the action you are deciding on will affect your day, or your life after you make it?

You never really realize it right? But after you really think about it, you finally realize how big of a part choices are in your day. I personally never realize how much one choice can change everything. But this week, it seems like that fact just keep jumping out at me. And another thought followed it.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Choices are sometimes really hard, and complicated. And sometimes, you better make the right one, or else you will have a whole lot of mess to clean up afterwards. It's true. One choice can change everything. Not for most things, but for the most important and sacred things, one choice is all we have. It sounds scary to me. I don't know about you, but knowing, thinking, and finally realizing how important choices are, that just makes me nervous.

So what do we do when hard decisions are ahead of us? Do we stop and freeze because we are too scared? Do we just give up because its too hard, and we don't want to spend the effort? Do we stop thinking period and do the rush decision, or do we take the time to calm ourselves, and make the RIGHT decision? And even after that, do we know that it was the right decision? There are just so many things that comes along with making that one big decision.

So next time when you come across a choice or decision that you need to make, how are you going to go about it? What would you do to make sure you are making the right choice? I won't tell you how to make your choice, because that will never be fore me to say, but I will tell you this. Choices are hard, and complicated. But because of that, you have to be calm, and strong to make the RIGHT choice for yourself. Don't let anybody else, or anything else to affect your own choices. Remember, you have your own agency, and you have your own life. Take control of it, and use it well. Use it for the right reasons. Use your precious Agency to choose the RIGHT. Don't forget it. :)

Anyways, that is all that I have to say right now. Hope you guys are doing your best in everything! Because as always, I am! :) Peace! :)
